In 2025 OK3 AIR Awarded More than $50,000 in Charitable Foundation Grants to Non-Profits Serving the Heber Valley

OK3 AIR has proudly operated its FBO business at the Heber Valley Airport for the past 25 years. OK3 AIR believes that it has a responsibility to positively impact the community in which it operates through annual charitable giving to local non-profits that improve people's lives, with a focus on non-profits that address public health, education, arts, environmental, and/or land conservation issues. To this end, OK3 AIR established a Charitable Foundation Grant program in 2022, for which it solicits applications each year from June through September.

OK3 AIR now announced its Charitable Foundation Grant recipients for 2025:

  • Christian Center of Park City/Heber Food Pantry/Snacks in Backpacks Project
  • Community Alliance for Main Street/City Park Programming
  • Heber Valley Ospreys/Civil Air Patrol Squadron UT-803/Educational programs
  • Kimball Art Center/ARTS Tours at Heber Valley elementary schools and YAA scholarships
  • Timpanogos Valley Theatre/Funding for "1776 The Musical"
  • UAC Foundation/Nutcracker Tea Benefit for the Children's Justice Center
  • Wasatch County School District Foundation (Wasatch Education Foundation)/We Rise First-Gen Scholars Program

These non-profits received an average grant of about $6,500. The largest grant of $20,000 was awarded to the Wasatch Education Foundation and will provide scholarships for eight firstgeneration college students from the Wasatch High School Class of 2026.

In announcing the grants, Maggie AbuHaidar, General Counsel to OK3 AIR and Director of the OK3 AIR Charitable Foundation Grants Program, said, "These non-profits will impact thousands of people in Heber Valley in 2026. They not only provide critical support to our families, including food security, support for first-gen college students, and access to legal representation, but also enrich our lives, with visual arts, ballet, live music, and theater. We are lucky to have these non-profits operating in our community and we are so proud to partner with them."

Since founding its Charitable Foundation Grant program in 2022, OK3 AIR has donated approximately $300,000 to non-profits that support the Heber Valley.

The application window for OK3 AIR's 2026 Charitable Foundation Grants will open on June 1, 2026.
